Kasi Lifestyle 3D multiplayer (v2.0 to v2.51): how to join rooms

Multiplayer is built into Kasi Lifestyle 3D. Tap Online Multiplayer on the main menu, pick a name and you land in a lobby where you join a room or make your own. A room holds up to 20 players. If you searched for "v2.0 multiplayer", the newer build is v2.51.1, and that's the one to get.

Which version should you be on?

"Kasi Lifestyle 3D multiplayer v2.0" is still a popular search, but v2.0 is from December 2025. Here's how the 2.x line went, using the developer's own upload dates:

How to join a multiplayer room

Open the game and tap Online Multiplayer. (v2.51's main menu has three buttons: Offline Solo, Online Multiplayer and Garage.)
Type the name other players will see. The game suggests one like "KSL Player 4996"; change it to your own and tap OK.
Wait for Connecting to server, then Connected to server. Entering to lobby.
The Browse Rooms screen shows your region, the total players and rooms online, and a list of open rooms with how many players are in each. Tap a room to join it.
No rooms, or want your own? Tap Create Room.
Inside the room, pick a car from the spawn menu and tap Spawn. Choose your control type (for example steering wheel), and use Type to chat to talk to the room. Exit Room takes you back out.

Where these steps come from

Steps 2–6 follow the developer's "How to connect multiplayer" video from January 2025 (the v1.2 builds). The Online Multiplayer button is confirmed in his v2.51 videos, but he hasn't posted a v2.51 room walkthrough yet, so some screens may look different. We'll update this page when he does.

Playing with friends

Get on the same version. Send your friends to the same itch.io page so everyone runs v2.51.1. Different versions are a likely reason friends can't find each other's room.
One person creates the room, everyone else finds it in Browse Rooms and taps it.
Watch the 20-player cap. If the room is full, nobody else gets in until someone leaves.

The player limit, and why you sometimes can't connect

On the v1.2 connection screen the game told players that 20 to 21 players maximum can play online and 20 players are allowed inside one room. So when it's busy, the server itself can fill up, not just your room.

For v2.5 the developer's site promises "optimized netcode with expanded server capacity", and his v2.51.1 page talks about "enhanced multiplayer stability". He hasn't said what the new limit is, so treat busy evenings and weekends as the times you're most likely to get stuck connecting.

What changed in multiplayer since v1.2

v1.2 (November 2024): the first build with multiplayer. The developer called it unfinished at the time.
v1.2.3.3a+ (May 2025): smoother steering, number-plate skins and paid access to multiplayer competitions.
v2.0 and v2.1 (December 2025): the 2.x line starts. The developer billed v2.1 as "multiplayer free".
v2.5 (January 2026): netcode and server capacity upgrades, according to the developer's site.
v2.51 / v2.51.1 (Sep–Oct 2026): Offline Solo and Online Multiplayer become separate menu options, with "enhanced multiplayer stability" in the developer's notes.

Known issues and fixes

The developer doesn't publish a known-issues list. These are the problems players actually raise, with the fixes that make sense:

Stuck on "Connecting to server": switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, check you still have data left, restart the game, and try later if the server is full.
Friends' room doesn't show: make sure you're all on the same version and the same region on the Browse Rooms screen.
Lag in busy rooms: lower the graphics and close other apps. See settings and fixes.
